PAYMENT: Make an appointment
at the clinic to come in and sign up for the Take Charge program
(in Washington State only). After signing up (it's easy, no
red tape!) you will receive a Take Charge card in the mail.
That's your ticket to FREE BIRTH CONTROL FOR ONE YEAR.
PARENTS: Notification
or consent of teens' parents is not required for abortion,
birth control, pregnancy tests, or tests for sexually transmitted
diseases including HIV/AIDS. In Washington State, teens may
make these decisions with or without their parents.
CONFIDENTIAL: All records
are private and confidential. However, if a patient uses insurance
or DSHS to pay for health care, confidentiality cannot be
guaranteed.
SECURITY: For your safety,
Security Guards are present at the clinic entrance. Due to
the violent attacks upon some clinics, the Security Guard
will ask to see inside all bags and check to see that each
person allowed in has an appointment.
