Jordon's
Story
It was just a couple days ago ... my
boyfriend and I had gotten into a fight earlier that day, but we decided to go
out for New Years anyway. After the party, we went to have sex, all the signs
were wrong, we really should have paid attention. I had gotten the 'wrong' condoms,
we had fought earlier, when he tore the condom out of the package I, for some
reason, thought he should have picked another. He usually pulls out even
with the condom right before he orgasms,
but I had told him this time to stay in. I should have listened to my inner voice
saying that maybe we should have waited and not done it that night, but the alcohol
overtook my better judgment. After he finished inside me he pulled out and we
realized the whole tip of the condom had come off inside of me!
I tried
to call all around the next day for the "morning
after pill" (emergency contraception) but no one had it, and it didn't help it was New Year's Day,
most places weren't even open!
So now here I am, waiting desperately to
get my period, praying to God that if he lets me get away with this one I will
not have sex again until I am on the pill.
I am so mad at myself for not waiting a little bit longer, what if I am pregnant?
this is not supposed to happen to someone like me ... unfortunately abortion is
the only option. If I catch the pregnancy quick, like in the first month, it shouldn't
be that painful or traumatic.
thank you and God bless, Jordon

RESPONSE FROM WEBWEAVER Listen, don't beat yourself
up. We all take risks, make some bad choices, are influenced by others... We're
human. For future reference, "morning after pills" (emergency
contraception) can be used within 72 hours (3 days) of the unprotected sex.
You can buy it ahead of time, then you have it. Most pharmacies now sell it. Your
local health department probably has it, and of course family planning clinics
have it. Pregnancy tests purchased over the counter are pretty reliable.
Some clinics offer free tests, but watch out for the antiabortion counseling centers
that are fake clinics, they don't provide real
health care, just antiabortion material. Depending on where you live,
IF you are pregnant, you may have more
options early in the pregnancy (4-8 weeks), including medical
abortion (abortion by pill or injection of medication), or IPAS suction, suction
created without electrical equipment, and regular aspiration abortion |
