Post Ablation
At the Fundus

There is a sound the Bay makes at the fundus of the sea,
Where the tides are the highest in the world.

It is the deepest groan of the moon,
erupting from the cataclysm of the tides,
as the incoming water collides with the out rushing sea.

The diabolic force causes rivers to flow backwards,
and waterfalls to reverse.
It makes boulders chime on the sea floor.

The crushing sound explodes in my head, hormones in my body cry out to mimic the sea.
I am at the awful apex of the opposing tides.
